In case you got trouble being kicked by PunkBuster when playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 try the following:
- Make sure you have fully uninstalled the BETA version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
- If you were using PBSetup on the BETA, you’ll have to remove it from the list of games and re-add the retail version. This is because the game’s path changed.
- Run PBSetup and make sure it points to the correct folder.
- Windows Vista and Windows 7 users may want to install the PunkBuster service files before installing BFBC2 using pbsvc.exe.
- Make sure you are running the most recent version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
